    Default Went through ds's clothes..

I finally got out all of my ds clothes from birth till now (he's 2 1/2) and went through them. I have been putting it off hoping to save them for another little one and I just couldn't part with them....but I finally did it... I had 5 keepers of clothes!! and I got it down to 1 keeper of keep (his keeps and some just in case)!

I have one keeper full of stuff to take to a consignment shop Tuesday, a pile to list on ebay, and a keeper full of summer clothes to sell next year.

It was bitter sweet going through all them clothes, its hard to believe he has grown so much but I am glad to have gotten it done...he had so many clothes and the money will definitly come in handy here...

Cornelia, That is wonderful!!! You must have cleared out so much space! In my family, we pretty much all pass around the kids clothes, so we never really get attached. None of Patrick's clothes are actually Patrick's clothes, if you know what I mean. I do get pangs, every now and then when I see my neice wearing Julia's old stuff. I feel like she was just wearing it yesterday. The pass-around system helps us to constantly be purging clothes, which is very helpful.

    I'm proud of you!
