i was going to sew, and knit, and clean and had dreams of coming in here monday morning and telling you all about how much i got done.

instead i have to work all weekend due to someone getting fired.now we have no idea when my next day off is. the money will be great, it will be on the last check before christmas, but i bet nothing much will get done

Bummer that you lost your day off.

Sorry to hear you have to work on your days off but great news about the nice extra money.

I understand where you are coming from. Some girl that works third shift called in and said she was sick! How convenient! Especially during Thanksgiving! We have a small staff and there was only two of us left to work the shifts. So between Jill and I we were working 12 hour shifts for four days straight. Three of the workers were out of town and the per diems had other jobs to work at. What made it really bad is that my sister came up from PA for Thanksgiving and I seen her for a total of three hours!
