    Question Candles & dust?

At our Sunday School Christmas party yesterday someone was saying that burning candles helps to keep the dust down in the house. I had never heard this before. Has anyone else ever heard this?

Hmmm.... the guy that came out to fix our fridge was telling us that he fixed a lady's fridge that kept having black soot collect in front of the fridge door. They couldn't figure out what was causing it for the longest time, then, they finally realized that she burned lots of candles, and, the fan/motor on the fridge was sucking in that black soot from the candles. Apparently after she moved the candles out of the room the black stuff disappeared.

So, my guess is that candles actually might cause a little more dust... but that doesn't stop me from burning them.
