Question Do you purchase cut flowers for your home and if so...

    How often.

When we first moved here, there was a flower shop in town. She had a monthly flower club and each month you went in and got different flowers. I joined and did it for a year. I loved it. She had such a variety of cut flowers.

She is no longer opend and I haven't purchased any cut flowers for a couple years. However, I love having a bouquet of flowers on my kitchen table. When gardening season is in I can do that, however winter doesn't afford me that. I wish I could though because I'd have cut flower arrangements in every room of my home.

I haven't for a long time. Dh buys me roses once in a while, and a poinsetta at Christmas.

I love carnations though. I used to buy those once in a while. they are cheap, smell great and if you re cut the stems they last forever and ever just about.

I don't usually. I pick my own from my yard. I'll even pick wild flowers like golden rod and such and stick them in a mason jar from time to time.

No. I hate fresh flowers. They are just something else for me to have to take care of. They also always remind me of the smell of a funeral parlor.

I don't buy them, Gripey sometimes does buy me roses and he's always bringing me roses from his rose garden in the summer.

I love to arrange flowers. I did all the centerpieces for the tables at my Sons wedding. We have a local place called Produce Junction that sells flowers and greens. I can walk out of there with a armload of flowers for a few dollars I usually have fresh flowers in the house. I grow them in the summer. To earn my Master Gardener certification I had to give a speech, so I did a demo on flower arranging.

Usually every week from the market. They're inexpensive but I just love seeing a bunch of flowers in my loungeroom. I'd have them in every room if I could afford it!

I love fresh flowers and would pick my own if I had a garden. I do purchase them during Thanksgiving, Christmas and sometimes in the Summer.

Several times a year dh buys me roses or I'll buy them for myself. When our peonies bloom I cut them and bring them inside. I love fresh cut flowers.
