So Annoying
So, I'm watching Clean Sweep and there is a woman on who refuses to get rid of anything. Every single thing is a fight. EVERYTHING!
You called the show. You know the rules. You know you have a clutter problem, and yet you refuse to get rid of anything? Come on. You have more than a clutter problem. You've got an attitude problem!
At least it was an episode I haven't seen before! My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

I saw one like that once. The woman would not let go of her magazines and was clinging to them like they were gold. lol She was definitely tossing a little childlike fit over wanting to keep them. It was funny.

every once in a while there is one like that on Sell this house which relies on being able to dejunk like mad.
There was this obstinate mulish woman called Mollie and she obviously wanted them to clean her up, but only on her terms. Crazy.
I think she wanted someone to come in and do it for her and the fact that the homeowner has to put some sweat into it offended her, then the paint colour bothered her (she forgot she was trying to sell and appeal to mass tastes) and she was offended that the show cleaned up her dirt.
Kind of like that woman on Oprah the other day wanting Dave Ramsey to fix her kids spending but not in any drastic or lasting way. She just wanted to be on the show, maybe pick some help up for free, but nothing too life changing.

It is annoying. I think these people want their 10-15 mins. of fame. That's all they are there for. Just like Oprah and the mom who kept saying her kids were good kids. She didn't want to change at all.

I wonder how much was "creative editing" on the part of the show and how much was actually her whining? I am always curious to know what the unedited versions of those type shows would look like, especially something like Nanny shows or the spouse swap shows. I bet we would get a different perspective without editing.

I don't understand people like that either... On the other had I hate it when the organizer tries (in vain usually) to get rid of the womans wedding dress or a treasured family heirloom... Yes, they may not be kept the correct way, but I think they should be given the option of getting it cleaned up and displayed correctly, before the organizer goes straight to the "you're not respecting it so why keep it??".. That drives me nuts too.... Get rid of the magazines and the craft projects you haven't done in six years, but let her (or him) keep the baby afgahan that their mom started before she died... That will be done eventually..... Any way this is only my opinion.... I do like the show though...
