We have a quilt that MIL made for us. It's blues and white mostly. It's huge and so warm!

Both. We use a ton of blankets/quilts/comforters on our bed (it gets really cold in our room at night). The comforter is a floral, and the quilt is the bridal quilt my mother made for me (which is white and jewel tones)

I use two comforters on my bed. One down, which is white but I have a floral duvet cover I made for it. The other is a floral, also.

I'd prefer a quilt, but Rob and I can never agree on a pattern that we both like.
So, we have a white comforter. My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

A quilt, Pattern is called country bride. My DH bought it for me years ago its pink, blue and white with some green. My allergist told me not to use a comforter because they become a home for dust mites.

Right now it's a comforter from a bed in a bag set. It's a purple print and white lone star pattern.

I've always wondered what a comforter is - can you help? I wonder if it is duvet - filled with either feathers or foam stuff??? It's a great sounding word anyway!
