Do you decorate your home with indoor plants?
Yes, although I wish I had more. We have no place to purchase indoor plants so unless I'm in Winnipeg, they are very hard to find.

No, between 3 indoor dogs and ds1 they'd never have a chance.

No, darned cats better be glad they are so cute.
I did see a magazine article recently about putting indoor window boxes of trailing ivy up above doorways. That might would work for me if I tried it.

Yes! Lots! I try to use them decoratively, not just have a bunch of plants on a shelf in the window...but, I have a green house window in the kitchen that just seems to breed plants. They appear out of nowhere. (Or sometimes I just splurge...like this week when Fred Meyer has 3" plants for $1 each.) Fortunately, or unfortunately, they grow like weeks and while they start out in 3" pots, sooner or later they end up in 10" pots, and they're a lot harder to keep!
A partial list:
A variegated ficus (in an 18" pot...bought it for $6 (a huge price for me to pay for a plant, but it's now 7' tall & gorgeous!)
3 variegated dracaenas in a pot
flowering begonias (pink & white - taken from cuttings at a park over the summer)
sanseveria
spider plant
spathiphyllum (free w/coupon!)
bay tree (free w/coupon!)
schefflera (free from ob/gyn!)
rabbit's foot fern
two Christmas cactuses
jade plant (in 12" pot, originally from a cutting)
variegated ivy
creeping fig (variegated ficus)
croton (made not last long - it looks okay, but not great, so it may get disposed of for new plants!)
coffee plant (originally grown in a large coffee cup...now in a 10" pot!)
variegated bougainvillea (also not doing great, but I still love it)
a few random succulents & other miscellaneous
rubber plant (another ficus!)

Right now I have six in the living room. I also have cuttings that are in the diningroom window.. I usually have more, but for some reason they have been dying off one at a time.. It doen't help when the kids knock over the table they are sitting on... Any how, I will more than likely get a few more from DH grandmother soon..She is always giving me cuttings.
