    Yes I do, especially with 3 kids in our home.

    No I don't. But when I vacuum the furniture prior to expected guests, I cover the upholstered chairs to keep cat hair off. The rest of the furniture is leather or wood. Because of cat hair and allergies- I like to keep hair and dander to a minimum- so no rugs (except a few strategically placed) and only a couple of overstuffed easy chairs. makes life simple
