Yes he does, but don't you think he would enjoy one? You know how boys and their toys are?

Remember Heather aka aylasmommy? She bought one before she disapeared. I wonder if we could find her post. I think she liked it, she was in an apartment. You can get a regular one for under $200 though, and they're much bigger.

Well, I found the thread I was thinking of, but no mention that she actually bought one........... Can I do this cheaper? And I also need decorating tips

Oh! Here's where she says she LOVES it! Are time saving devices really time saving?

It's awefully cute! But a dw probably is only economical if you have a large family and run it once a day. Seems that would it have to run several times a day- ?at each meal?. I figure when it's just dh and me- I'll be washing the few dishes we dirty- that's more economical.
Okay- probably not! I'd still load'm up and do a washing every 3rd day instead! I spent my childhood years washing dishes for a family of 10- I'm still traumatized!

It's a good idea if you don't have a lot of space. (It would be good for my apartment) But if you do have the space maybe you should think about getting a regular sized dish washer? I don't think the dollar cost woul be much higher.

Danby appliances are supposed to be really good. I actually almost bought a Danby washer and dryer when I was looking for stackables, but DH thought they would be too small, depsite what everyone who reviewed tham said.

My parents had a portable dishwasher before I was born. They said they had to roll it around and hook it up to the sink when they wanted to us it- too much hassle. This seems like a much better idea!

Thanks for all the info ladies.

    Hey Julia, great idea!

I don't have room for a full sized dw whether built-in or portable. But then I forget, I DO have a dishwasher, but I call him Jack!
