    Default Do You Enjoy DeCluttering?

    I LOVE de-cluttering!!! It really leaves me with a satisfied feeling inside to see things being thrown away or passed on. Organization in general is a very good thing for me.

    Yes, I have been decluttering this week. I did the pantry, kitchen cabinets. Today I cleaned the dining room from top to bottom.
    I have the windows open today its in the 50s Love the fresh air in the house! DH is outside painting the wainscotting for our bathroom. I am glad he didn't have to do it in the house. No smell YEA!!

    There is such a payoff. Cleaning is easier and therefore more fun when there is "breathing room" around everything.

    Yes I find it very rewarding. It causes a whole lot less stress to have less around your home. I also enjoy giving away so that others can enjoy what I've enjoyed.

    Hmmmm.... I enjoy the feeling when I'm finished. I can't say I enjoy the process. It's very overwhelming to me.

    I go through all the stupid questions & arguments for every item:

    1. Should I try to sell this? If so, by which method? (We are in serious debt payoff mode, so every dollar we can squeeze out here and there is a benefit. But I hate the selling process.)

    2. Should I just chuck it all into the trash? (Then the environmental guilt kicks in.)

    3. Should I donate this? (My favorite solution, but then I go back to the "should sell it" feeling.)

    4. Should I keep this for future use? (Because there are myriad frugal uses for EVERYTHING, which is why I have all this stupid clutter in the first place!)

    *sigh* But after each round of decluttering is finally finished, I always feel good.

    Yes I love decluttering. It seems if I can breathe more easily and the house looks so much nicer. Also, it is easier to find things once you get rid of stuff you no longer need.
