    How to Clean a Telephone

To clean and disinfect telephone receivers,

apply Listerine mouthwash with a soft Cotton pad or rag.

Do not rinse off. This is great advice for

offices during the cold and flu season.

Thanks for the great tip. I keep a cannister of Chlorox wipes in my desk at work for wiping my phone and computer keyboard.

Another good cleaner for phones is alcohol. You can use a qtip to clean every crevice. It is also great for cleaning your computer mouse and getting in between the keys on your keyboard.

Thanks for the tip. I usually use alcohol, but I have some Listerine in a yucky flavor that DH and I are unlikely to use up as mouthwash, so I may try it with the phone.

    I think this is excellent.

before you toss the wipe, use it on the door knobs and light switches and the remote control. Those are the things we touch frequently all day long along with others.
