Default Want to win this home?

Wonder what the taxes would be winning a place like this. http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/dream_home_tour_2006/

I love many things about this home but can any of you picture your family eating breakfast in the breakfast area? Love the view but those chairs are so impractical.

I don't think I would be comfortable living there, much less my kids! I think too many nice things must intimidate me.

I love the house, I just wish it was not in NC.  I have  been in Ashville, or at least close to it, and there is nothing around there at all.  You are totally in the mountains.  Not my cup of tea.

Oh my goodness, that home is incredible. I would love to live there. I doubt I could afford the taxes but it would still be an incredible home to live in. The only thing that I did not care for was the kitchen, it was really small in comparism with the rest of the house. I love a kitchen that you can really work in with plenty of countertops and work space and that was lacking in those areas. I guess the view makes up for it though .
