    Default Good idea on cleaning

    Getting Chores Done

Some chores I really don't like to do, but they have to be done
so I break them into small chunks and then intersperse with
something I do like to do. For example, if I have yet to clean
off and disinfect all the kitchen counter tops after baking and
doing the dishes, I get a book I am reading before I begin. I
spray one countertop, read two pages, then wipe down the counter
top thoroughly, replace whatever items I had to move in the
process and then spray another, before going back to reading
another two pages, and so on. Before I know it, the counter tops
are cleaned and I haven't minded the task because I was engrossed
in doing something I wanted to do, too.

    That's a pretty good idea.

Good idea - that way you're letting the cleaning product do the hard work and cuts down a bit on elbow grease.

    Right ON sister!!!

I tend to think that is what commercial breaks are for on TV.

I like to settle in for some mind numbing but extremely fun TV like my soap, or Star Trek and turn the volume up LOUD so I can hear in the other room when the commercial is over.

This may be why I enjoy cleaning.

I mean if a person feels a tad guilty over her guilty pleasures, well the cleaning chores soak up the guilt and a person goes thru her day, MUCH happier having enjoyed Captain Kirk and Spock or Evil Alastair on Passions doing their bit to liven up a persons day!
