What's your First Chore of the Day?

My first chore of the day, before doing anything else (except for putting on my glasses so I can see what I'm doing ) I make dh's and dd's lunches for the day. What's your first chore of the day?

Either making the bed or turning on the dishwasher.

Usually making my bed. After that, I usually check my computer to see if or anyone else messaged me during the night (several of my best friends are night owls and sleep during the day). Otherwise, I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth and hair.

Unfortunatly...I have to admit, my first *chore* is to go potty!!!
Then....feed the cat and make coffee.

Make the bed and do the dishes that my husband piled up after I went to bed the night before. Then usually start a load of laundry and put away some laundry that was hanging overnight.

I usually get up, and then go and let the dogs out of their crates and then feed them.

I flop the covers back, to air the bed, I don't make the bed right away, prefer to wait till much later. I often open the window and shut the door to the room after dumping a pillow on the hot air register so the room gets a blast of cold dry air (death to the dust mites!)

I head to the bathroom for the usual reason and as I'm washing up after, brush teeth, then clean the sink and taps and counter. Later I'll do other cleaning chores during other bathroom visits.

Get to kitchen pour coffee (dh makes it, he is up first), sit down for a bit, then when I get up to make breakfast I empty the dishwasher as the porridge cooks.

The first thing I do when I get up is go to the potty. When I am done I swish and swipe the toilet. That is my first chore for the day.

I grab the clothes basket before I go downstairs, while my coffee is getting super heated in the microwave....I throw a load in the washer, and then put away any dishes that have been air drying in the drainer.

I let the dogs out first, then while they are out, I put the supper dishes away that were drying overnight.

I am almost always the first one awake. I tiptoe around to throw on some clothes, pack DH's lunch, then head out for an exercise walk.

I get the coffee set up and lunches made the night before so for me......I go potty, grab a load of dirty clothes and before heading downstairs I start waking the kids up for school!

Then make breakfast (after the kids are up)

After that, the only thing I do is chase & transport kids. Once in a while I'll hang out a load of laundry or two before they get off to school. After they are all off to school, that is when I get all the chores done.

Deciding what to have for dinning and getting the meat out of the freezer, then onto a load of laundry all before the kids get off to school.

Let the dogs out, get some coffee, let the dogs in, feed them, and make the bed. Those are the chores I do before I can "think" in the morning.
