Thumbs up Gotta get this mess picked up!

I took dd to her first day of school. Just me and the college bound one here and trust me she will snooze for hours!

Time to get a GRIP on my house and life.

It is pushing 8:30 so I am going to power clean for 15 minutes in any room and any type of cleaning and see what happens.

    Let the games begin!

Well that was a bust. Half way through the phone rang and it was my sister freaking because her dd had her first day of kindergarten today.

Her other kids are 22 and 21 so she is really out of the whole school loop.

Madalyn was ok, my sister cried..twice.

So...at 9:30 I will try again to 15 minute power clean!

    Good luck!

I find that I do well in 15-minute bursts, too- flylady-style- it really works for me. I hope you get a lot done!

Note to self- spending time trying to vaccuum cat hair off the couch is a bad idea. It takes to long and it doesn't work. Bad job for a 15 minute power clean.

You should have seen me chasing the labrador and terrier hair around the diningroom and kitchen tile!

They are like furry tumbling weeds!

Let's face it the house belongs to the animals, they just let me live here!

dds room is looking better--organized NO.

    better--yep.

All my livingroom furnature is polished and the glass is shined. I also washed/dusted all the knick knacks. The floors are swept and most are vaccuumed.

    Dinner is in the crockpot.

Cleaned the bathroom and still can not get rid of the soap scum off the glass doors.

Dds college dorm stuff is stacked neatly and waiting for her to goooooooo! WAH!

I watered the dogs and played with them for a while. I need MORE dog hair in this house like I need a swift kick. It was really flying while they were wrestling in the livingroom.

I vaccuumed the hall and looked for webs.

So far it is going well.

I also did 2 loads of laundry!
