Question My kitchen sink, not shiny, HELP!

It is stainless steel (?), used to be shiny, now it isn't! Have I scoured it too much? How do I make it shiny again?

I just dont know? I might recall a powder like product that you shake on the sink and buff. I can see it in my mind, its a white bottle. Sorry thats all I got for you.

I have a stainless steel sink, also. I have shined mine the FlyLady way and it most definitely worked! Just go here and read her directions. At the bottom of the directions she gives an extra step for stainless steel and I did that as well. My sink looked marvelous!

I use CLR (grey bottle here in Canada) or windex.

My mother taught me to shine the sink with Pledge spray. The same Pledge that you use to dust furniture with. It works great.

Well, I've tried everything! I think that it is beyond help. This has just occurred in the last week or so. Maybe dh put something in the sink, and it scratched it?

I have a stainless steel sink that was scratched. I used a little olive oil on a paper towel and then buffed it with a clean cloth. I do this every once in a while and the sink looks great.

Wow, lemon oil, huh? What a great tip. I'll have to try that myself.
