    Smile Clutter Control, Wed. 8/1

Good morning! Let's start out the new month with our living/family rooms. Is there any clutter lying around? How about on your coffee table/end tables? How are your bookshelves? Let's pretty them all up, clear away the clutter, dust, and maybe even vacuum!

I'm in good shape here. Our family room is part of the addition we built on to our home (my handy hubby built on a 2-story addition over a 2-year period for around 15K!). It's so nice and new that I can't stand to let it get cluttered. I will have to dust and do a quick peek under the sofa to see what baby may have tucked under there. I give the floor a once-over each evening after the kids are in bed.

Thank you for giving me that kick today. I will do the walk through pick up before I head out the door for swimming lessons. Of course after I am done with my Frugal Village Browsing. Working on the portable lap top but just can not justify when I have a desk top.

My end tables *always* need clearing off. Especially in my knitting corner.
My book shelves are as good as they get. Overloaded with books (just the way I like them ) and already dusted.

Will start picking up / organizing livingroom when dd naps in a few minute...
Need to get the bookcase cleaned and once again the desk needs to be cleaned off (definitely a hotspot). I vacuumed last night and it's still clean.
I still have to clean the purse from yesterday's challenge. But will get to it before the day is over.

I don't have a family/living room to speak of (small apartment with no sofa), so I did more decluttering and recycling.

I like your challanges. No need to make em harder I still have a list of at least 5 of them I need to do!!! I just cannot find time this past week to do the big jobs.rrrrr
Still to do:Clean tub, toilet, Under kitchen sink, Closet floor ( its my catch all )Ceiling fans.

Wow did I do anything!!! LOL

I did do the bookshelves ( 2 of them packed w toys ) and living room table and computer desk which is in toy room. I also did the VCR/DVD/TV area. Was able to get this done during movie/quiet time today. 45 minutes it took me.

~I missed this thread somehow but oddly enough I did my weekly living room and bedroom cleaning yesterday. Didn't have time to dust though because I spent 2 hours purging and organizing baby clothes into lots to sell on Ebay. I have about 75 items grouped into about 20 lots. Whew! I'll dust today along with mopping the kitchen, bathroom and entry.~

Hi Everyone! I'm back, and ready for the challenge. I have been really sick for 2 days. Today I almost feel like myself. Now that I have been down for a while, the house really needs a pick-me-up!
