    Smile Clutter Control Fri., 8/3

Good morning! What does your entry way look like? Mine has shoes all over the place, by each door. I have three doors. So today we will work on those areas. While we are at it, lets sweep off our porches, and clear the cobwebs from both areas! Check in later!

~Urg. I wish I could clean it up by the door. I have 2 bags for Goodwill, 2 boxes for Freecycle(someone will pick these up tomorrow), a large bag for my mom, a bag for my mil, a bag for my sis, one for my new nephew and a package to be mailed. Most of these will be gone tomorrow. Other than that it's neat and cobweb free! Guess I'll do maitenance today, ie, keeping clutter off the the dining table and computer area and going through the house trashing a bag full of stuff. Everytime I do this I'm amazed that I still have things to get rid of! These threads are very motivating, Julie, thanks!~

My front entryway is like Constance's. I have a few bags to take to the Salvation Army, a big box to freecycle, and a couple of boxes for dh to take to the attic. It's been swept, mopped, & vacuumed.

The mudroom is cleaned up as well. Dd needs to do the litter boxes and the area rug needs to be vacuumed though.

Just cleaned the 2 entryways yesterday but porch needs work. Vacuumed and swept.

Also tackled the linen/daycare closet today, put all laundry away, and did ceiling fans already.

SO will work on porch and my closet if i get time. Good job ladies!

I don't have anything by mine. I hate having things by the entryways only cuase I"m a major klutz and twice fell down the front steps by tripping OUT the front door (over something I have there) and let me tell you, it hurt lol. I did however have my BF go out and clean out the gazebo (which covers our patio directly outside the backdoor) and wash the mats by both doors.

LOL, Jen, I am a total clutz! I've tripped walking UP a staircase.

My entryway has shoes, some kid clutter, and the filing cabinets that will go back into the office when we finish the painting and new floor next week. I (and the kids!) can clean up the clutter, but the filing cabinets will have to stay for a wee bit longer...

I finally rented a carpet cleaner and cleaned/decluttered my downstairs family room. I just need to put everything back in "order" tomorrow after the carpet dries. I was really hating that job and now that it is over...I feel soooo much better.

My next chore is to clean the bathroom and the kitchen downstairs....I almost HATE going down there...it is so messy and I refuse to continue living this way!!!!

The mudroom got done. I'm still slowly getting rid of the freecycle/goodwill/storage stuff in the front foyer. Today I am tackling my desk
