Clutter Control Mon., 8/13
Today I'm going to go through dd's clothes and get rid of the ones that are too small, etc... To make way for her new school clothes. I may go through my clothes too. When is the last time you did this?

I just did this last week for all of us! yippee! I think instead of finding more stuff to clean (seem to be kinda blah about cleaning for couple days) I will cook some today. its going to be a high of 75! What a break for us!
Have a great day everyone!

I already went thru both the baby's clothes (gave 2 huge bags to my nephew who's expecting anytime now) and went through ds's clothes a few weeks ago to see what he had for school. I can't really go through my clothes until after I have this baby and lose some of the weight.
So, I will continue working on decluttering things that people will be able to see - dd's first bday party is Sunday. I decluttered my built in bookcase last night and need to put dvds and videos in a box in basement until we can get a locking cabinet sometimes after the strike is over (dd likes to get into dvds and vids).I also cleaned up dd's room and reorganized yesterday. Today I need to organize kitchen closet, clean kitchen and maybe even dust.

I go through the clothes every spring and fall. It'll be the end of September before it's time/weather to do this around here.
My finger is doing better, so today I'll go back and catch up on the daily challenges I skipped when it was still nasty and swollen.

I just went through my closet yesterday and gathered up a bunch of clothes to give to a lady at work for her daughter. She has asked if she could pass on what they couldn't use to others, however, I asked if she could just return it to me so I could take it to Plato's Closet or to my mom's garage sale shes having this fall. I hope she didn't think that was rude, but I'd like to make a little money since I am giving whatever she can use to her for free.

I do this on a regular basis for dd. When I notice something getting too small or too short, the next time I wash it, I fold it and put it into our donate box, which I keep in the front closet. It's getting pretty full! I need to drop it off soon.

I went through my closet a few weeks ago, and donated quite a lot of clothes. Still going through there, but for non-clothing items to get rid of.
