Smile What is everyone cleaning today? 8/22

Today is vacuum and mop day. Going to sneak in a nap (love back to school) sometime today! I haven't been at home a full day since school started. Also need to pick up some clutter!

Today is a light cleaning day for me. I am washing the fabric that came with the free swings I got last night (YAY they are nice!) along with some towels. I already hosed them down now just need to disinfect them and set blanket up in living room with "new" swing on it..ready to go for the new baby starting Monday!

Other than that..load dishwasher, and tidy up rooms. I don't think I could come up with a bag of clutter even if i tried! LOL

    Have a great day!

No cleaning today. It's SHOPPING day.
Going to the commissary, picking up a layaway at Kmart, going to the thrift store, going to a couple of other grocery stores for loss leaders, maybe go to Target if I feel up to it.

We have been gone pretty much since Friday because of a death in the family and our house is truly suffering from it. We need to do everything, but it is just not all happening today. I am hoping to get the little stuff that has been left out picked up and put away. From there I am going to help out with the kids' chores. This weekend put them way behind plus they have a good bit of make-up school work and ball practice. I will probably change the litter box, fold some clothes and change their bedsheets for starters.

DH stayed home yesterday in hopes of helping clean up but we were so tired we slept most of the day.

~Another difficult cleaning day for me. Yesterday I spent most of the day switching furniture between our room and the kids room. DS thought it would be funny to sneak up behind me and push over the queen sized boxspring on me. Owwww! How can a 35lb kid be so strong? I've been working at switching things every day for about a week so it wouldn't be too exausting. I did the beds and dressers yesterday. And ALOT of wiping and vacuuming! It'd obviously been a long time since anything was moved and cleaned because some of the dust under the furniture was so thick that you couldn't see the color of the carpet. Now what's left to do is move one more cabinet, disassemble the crib, and figure out what to do with 6 totes of stuff that used to be stored in the 'kids' closet. Ay-yi-yi.~

After work I am tackling the computer desk and then going through my files and shredding old papers. I am moving in a couple months and don't want pay for moving anything I don't need anymore. I also need to get a GoodWill run in but that probably won't happen until Saturday.

I'm tackling the once-a-month-or-so fish tank cleaning. I also have to do the bathroom, since the fish water gets emptied into the toilet. The fish tank is 29 gallons and has an algae problem, so it's a mess. Luckily it was cleaned less than a month ago, though, so not as bad as usual.

I'll be vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and cleaning up poop and vomit. One of my dogs has been sick since last night. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Nothing. Slept late, frittered away the rest of morning with a cup of tea and a book, then breakfast and checking grocery ads on line. I have a couple of hours, then it's misc. errands and work until 11 pm tonight.

I'm doing some laundry, and light cleaning. I'll be out of town this weekend so I need to pack and clean. =)
