Yesterday I didn't have time to go to all the garage/yard sales I saw, but I really wanted to. So next weekend I've decided to go scouting. We're moving in early October and we're wanting the new place to be more "home like" because the apartment we're in now is white bare walls and well, just kind of cold. I'm hoping to find some things to be able to fairly simply paint/reuse for art and decorative items. I was wondering if anyone here has ever found something really cheap (yard sale, thrifting) and remade it into something great whether it be artwork, furniture, or something else. Any stories/pics?
