--schoolwork: lesson plans, grading papers, organizing some paperwork
    --laundry
--bake some cookies, probably oatmeal raisin
    --watch Big Spender 10:30 a.m.
--move some furniture around IF I feel better and IF I can get DS to help me

All in all, a very quiet, laid-back day.

Do some things around the house and then cry because my vacation week is almost over.

Today we are headed over to my parents' house for my side of the family's T-day dinner. Not dh though, he has to work

I've already worked a little bit on my homework, gotten the kids up & ready, and put the ham in the oven. All that is left is to shower, pick up the house a little big, maybe vacuum, and pack everything & everyone into the van and drive to mom's for the rest of the day.

Today is a relaxing day. All our family have returned to their homes & it's just hubby the cat & I again. After getting dressed, it's a quick pick up and straightening of things, maybe run the vac & some dishes. The rest of the day is puttering, reading & computer. Leftovers for dinner so no fuss there.
So nice to just relax after all the cleaning, cooking & visiting.

Gripey and I are taking the day off. We got snow here yesterday so we're pretending to be 'snowed in'

We're just a little tired from the holiday, the house is empty and quiet, fairly clean. I may do some laundry and will workout but otherwise we're gonna be lazy bums.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

I need to mop my kitchen and bathroom, get some ironing done. I think I may make some dinner rolls this afternoon. Hope everyone has a Super Saturday!

Gonna clean here. The kids have had the whole week off and it kinda looks like it around here

Once we've got it cleaned, planning to pull the Christmas stuff out and put up what we can today...hopefully all of it.

    Other than that nothing....yay!

We put our Christmas tree up decorated with ornaments and put our other decorations up last night after I came home from work. Today I need to have lunch, do some cleaning, go shopping for groceries, and then we are going to watch a movie .

I did dog sitting at my son's this week while he was out of town.

I'm exhausted. Yesterday I packed up my stuff to come home. There quite a lot because I cooked for myself and my other two kids (grown) and the youngests girlfriend and a friend came over. I love my oldest boy but the house leaves a lot to be desired, like pots and pans, cleaning etc. I did what I could by I'm not he "Miracle Worker".

Also, cooking Thanksgiving dinner in the worlds most poorly equipped kitchen put me over the moon, but I did it.

Now I know what I'm getting him for Christmas, real pots and pans. He cooks, but I don't know how in that kitchen.

It's so nice to be home in my pretty, uncluttered, clean and well supplied home. I was going to go couch shopping with my daughter today. She just sold her old couch and wants something more comfortable.

I had to call her and tell her that thought of having to leave my place was overwhelming today. She just laughed and said she understood.

    Sigh.... I love my place!
