Decluttering
I had to brag (and I know this is not a big deal to some), but my DD and I cleaned a big black garbage bag full of outgrown clothes and toys out of her room on Saturday!! We took it to a local charity called the Crisis Closet. I also filled another bag out of my room last night and will fill another tonight. I will put those two bags in my car to take to the Crisis Closet tomorrow.
I also have a box full of old towels, sheets and an old comforter ready to take to the local animal shelter this weekend. They are not fit for human use, but they can always use them at the shelter.
It feels so good to have that "stuff" out of my house.Robbin

~That's awesome! I'm hoping to teach my kids to declutter too. I'm not sure I ever parted with any of my stuff as a kid and it still messes with my head now. Sharing is such a wonderful thing to teach. WTG!~

I decluttered the garage and basement the other day and took a whole car load of stuff to the salvation army. Put it right in the car and took it there so it was not sitting in the house any longer.

Awesome! Must be such a great feeling. I keep telling myself that I am going to declutter, but never get around to it. Actually, I did declutter a tiny bit last weekend - went through a box of computer "stuff" (old parts and odds & ends - DBF is a computer technician, A.K.A. nerd, so it piles up...) that was driving me absolutely mad!
A small start, but a start.
