Fight the Nesting Instinct!

Well, ladies, for many of you, the big snow has already come and gone. For me, it came in yesterday and now it is finally starting to look like winter. I can feel the change in myself and I'm trying to fight it. You know the instinct. Cold weather...wanting to bundle up and stay warm with all of your possessions around you...maybe you need some more possessions to make the home look warmer and cozier?

Fight it! Fight that nesting instinct! Don't let the winter weather lull you into that feeling of needing more. Don't let the snow and sleet stop you in your decluttering missions!

Personally, today, I plan on filling two grocery bags with trash and finding at least two things to freecycle. My house isn't messy by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm sure if I look hard enough, I can find those two bags of trash and if I'm persuasive enough with the family, I can clear out two items before the holidays hit and we bring more things in.

Who is with me???

If the nesting urge gets to bad ya'all are welcome join me here on the farm, by the time you finish chores in the cold/snowy weather all you want to do is thaw out and drink something hot, only to have to do the chores again that night

Keeps ya to tuckered out to shop!

As fun as that sounds...no thanks! LOL!
We are getting snow this weekend I am so excited! I hope we get a foot! then I will be snowed in and there is no way I can shop! LOL!

I've been doing this for the past week & I have already trashed 3 garbage bags plus a huge doll house that was my 13 year olds.....lol. It feels so good to get rid of clutter!!!!!

I've been cleaning out closets, broken toys. worn out clothing......freecycled some, ebayed others, and junked the rest.......I am on a mission. I hate "Stuff"!
