What's Going on Today Sat. Dec. 29, 2007?

Today DH and I are meeting about 16 other riders and going for a motorcycle ride to a place called Gator's Landing in Palatka Florida for lunch. It's about a 1 1/2 hr ride from here. We will then take a country ride back home. We are looking forward to putting on about 200 miles + today.

After we get home I plan to "hopefully" get DS afghan out together and washed, watch for TV and have a light supper.

~In about 1/2 hour, I'm off to teach 3 piano lessons.
~When I return, I'm taking Dd and we're picking up my mother and my mother is taking us to Target to buy Dd some clothes for Christmas. She didn't want to buy them without Dd there because she's so tall and it's hard to size her without her present. ~Then, I plan on doing some laundry.
~Then, for the rest of the day, it's relaxation, reading, playing, eBay selling, and enjoying the last few days before going back to work.

Taking my son and DIL to the airport, shopping the sales, then home to relax. Very cold here. Have a great day!!

It's pouring rain here so my early morning plans to clean out a storage unit will have to wait.

I MUST get my bedroom cleaned up today, do some laundry, pack away some Christmas decorations.

I also wanted to cash in some aluminum cans but it depends on the weather. I'm not complaining, though, because we need the rain so badly.

We've slept in, gonna cook breakfast for our dkids who are still sleeping in and everyone will get ready after that. We're going to drive into the city to visit with Gripey's family and do a tiny bit of shopping.

I'm not doing much today... I have come down with a nasty head cold that has zapped my energy. A load of laundry is about all I'll get done today. Sleep is in my forecast. zzz

Well, I'm going thru stuff for Goodwill or ebay...I think I'm going to add a second bank account to my paypal and any proceeds from sales I will transfer to the bank with my HELOC. My husband just got his truck stuck on the ice in our back yard, we tried pulling it out with our quad with no luck and now he's calling for a hook so this is starting out to be an expensive day for us...I swear he does this a couple of times a year...I'm not sayin' a word!

We're headed over to see DH mother in the nursing home. She lives a couple of hours west of us so we'll be gone for a few hours. When we get back I would like to start clearing out the Christmas decorations. No big plans for the evening , maybe watch some of the movies we received for Christmas.

So far I've:
vaccumed the rugs
put away a load of landry
washed a load of dishes
and inventoried the deep freezer
Fed the fur bags
Sent DH off to local botanical garden he does volunteer work there

Still to do today:
start taking down Christmas stuff sort and thin down
Post some stuff to freecycle
Work up a menu for the coming week
Hit the grocery for meat
Drop off plastic bags at recycle bin
Pick up videos for tonight

well I was up at 4:30 with DH getting him off to work. I tried to go back to sleep but that did not work. I have been on line looking at free samples. that has took me to now lol. I was going to pay some bills today but we are snowed in. I dont drive in snow like this.

Left to do

1. make bed
2. put laundry in washer
3. Unload dishwasher
4. take out pork chops for dinner
5. put up cloths
6.put up some more Christmas stuff
7. re load dishwasher
8.clean bathroom
9. make luch for me and the kids ( dont know what that will be . I am back on low carb )

clean the master bedroom
Go to walmart and check out whats left of their sales
dishes
wash bedding
clean computer area
Go to the bank and deposit a check
look at slipcovers

Today I slept in while poor DH had to go to work. I have laundry to catch up on and some minor housecleaning to do. Tonight I am supposed to pick DS#1 back up from the DFW airport. I hate driving 2 hours each way. I wish he would fly in to a closer airport, but I will do it anyway.

It is going to be a huge money spending day in this house.

I need to take DD(14) to get her nails done first. Then off to get her eyebrows waxed and her hair highlighted - again.

DH and I need to go to some furniture stores and antique shops. I want a hutch or buffet and cannot find one I really like enough to buy.

Gather the family up for a trip to the grocery store and Sam's.

Then I hope to go to PetSmart - they have an awesome rabbit hutch we all want for our bunny, Bud.

However, it is almost 10:00 and my entire family, all animals included, are still in bed sleeping. Today is the first day since Tuesday that I feel good (been seriously sick) and I am soooooo ready to go, go, go. Think I may start banging pots and pans and slamming doors so everyone will get up.

I need to go through my home office and purge, toss trash, and reorganize. It's by far the worst room in the apartment right now. I need to gather the bags of things I have collected to donate and take them to a donation center this week.
