You have been busy Amy. I haven't done much, just read the newspaper and did some searches online.

I need to get going this morning because I have a full day ahead of me.

    To do:
~Take DS#2's car and have it inspected
~Take DS#1 to his recruiter's office to check in (supposed to work while on leave)
~Take DS#1 to Verizon store to pick up new phone
    ~Laundry (of course)
~Go through kitchen cabinets and drawers (declutter)

~DH and I are going to head to the next city over (only 20 miles away) to go to my dad's.
~DH is going to add something to my niece's computer at my dad's so it will speed up. Then, since DS is giving my other niece his xBox since he got an xBox360 so we will need to hook that up for her. My dad does not have any arms so he cannot.
~My cousin lives near my dad so we will drop off a huge box of trinket toys (like Happy Meal prizes) at her house. She is a teacher and uses them in her prize box for her students.
~We are bringing my oldest niece back home with us so she can go to the movies w/DS, DD, and DS's friend.
~My mom is picking up DD, DS, DS's friend and my niece then taking everyone to see Alvin & the Chipmunks.
~DH and I will take my niece back home to my dad's after the movie.
~Stop by the humane society (if we make it to that town - it is 12 miles the other way) and drop off some food, rawhides and bowls our dogs and cats don't need or won't eat.
~Drop off a lot of things we cleaned out at a local charity house.
~Check in at the hotel for our fun night of celebrating. I have all of the goodies and extras the kids wanted and the dog's stuff is all packed and read to go. I got us my favorite two-room suite there and we cannot wait. (my coin jar netted me over $600 this year and I cashed it in back in Oct and again last week. Nights at my fave hotel for no real reason are what I used this year's change for. I already spent a couple of nights there a while back - it was ....oh so relaxing).
~From there it will just be a night of pigging out, playing games and ringing in the new year together.

Everyone stay safe and have a happy new year!!!

Today is a blah day for me so far....

*I have one daycare kid ( the baby and she has been sleeping since she got here!)
*We had breakfast and cleaned out the fridge. Took out chicken for dinner.
    *Loaded dishwasher, took out garbage.
*Made beds, and started sheets in laundry.
*Printed some daycare stuff for end of year info.
*Got all reciepts together and filed in 2007 folder.

    Will do rest of day:
    *Baby leaves at 4.
*Clean out purse, and put credit cards away so I dont spend this year!
*Play some games with the kids.
*Make and eat dinner ( may invite mom over for dinner )
*Finish and put away laundry and sheets.
*Get salt and lay down, was icy this morning and I ran out.
*Try to stay up til midnight with the kids ( this morning they said they really want to..LOL)
    *Relax and take bath tonight.

So far, I've showered, dressed, made coffee, received daycare baby. He's now napping. Soothed dd4 from a nightmare and laid her down with dh, they are both sleeping. dd10, dd8 and her friend, ds13 are ALL SLEEPING! Oh, think next batch of childcare kiddos are here....

Ok, they are. one is now eating breakfast. So I only have enough time to make my list.

    - clean up kitchen
    - empty dishwasher, reload, clean sink and counters.
    - put away craft stuff on table.
    - laundry(does it ever end?)
    - make home for extra blankets etc.
    - tidy up dd4 room.
    - inventory freezers and pantry
    - make up menu from inventory
    - make shopping list for New Years Eve family night.
    - transfer money to dh account for auto withdrawl. Joys of him not working.
    - hit grocery store
    - make supper
-enjoy family night of movies and junk food.

    I think that's it.

I've already been to the dentist, read the paper, cleaned up the kitchen.

For the rest of the day---

    --2 loads of laundry
    --bake some peanut butter cookies
--do some financial figuring for the new year
    --finish cleaning my bedroom
--cook for DS, DD, and DD's friend who spent the night

Oh, Neeley, you will LOVE Alvin and the Chipmunks! We had such a good time at that movie. Now, on to the day.... We are getting syllabi ready for our next semester classes, cleaning out dresser drawers, making baklava, coloring my hair, and just general puttering around.

I wanted to take the tree & other Christmas decorations down, but Kathryn asked me to keep it up until after her sleepover (tonight). So I'll probably take it down when they go back to school on Wednesday.

    On my agenda:
    • return to Lands’ End />package to Kristi
    • mop bathroom upstairs
    • mop bathroom downstairs
    • clean bedroom (1/2 done)
    • clean sewing room
    • work on L’s quilt
    • remind Dave about pegs
    • return to QVC
    • get CC balances
    • check Jan. bills spreadsheet (are they all paid?)
    • activate new Discover card
    • return to Old Navy package (?)
    • finish fob & mail to Mom w/kids’ pics, rebate form
I'd like to do some baking after all that is done. I don't think I'll get all of that done, but some of it can be done later in the week too.
