1/6 What's on Your Agenda for the Day?

So, it's Sunday. What's on your agenda for the day?

My day was going to be full, but I woke up with pink eye

which has changed my plans quite a bit.

I will stay home with Ds2 while Dh takes Dd and Ds1 to church. Then, he'll take them grocery shopping while I continue to stay home.

I was supposed to take Dd to a birthday party, but Dh is going to take her now.

So, although pink eye is gross and yuccky, it's contagious nature has given me a day off!

I'll probably wind up

Now to make it go away so I can go to school tomorrow. I don't want to take a sick day for an infected eye, but my district is still pretty strict about pink eye.

I'm going to SS and Church in just alittle bit. Coming home and having a lazy day. Just doing dishes and warming up food. Back to Church this evening. I do need to do my Sweating to the Oldies tape today. I got side-tracked yesterday and totally spaced it off. Think I'll make a few phone calls this afternoon and catch-up with a few folks. HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

AmyBoz----sorry about your pink eye. What are you using to clear it up?

Our school is strict about it too. Once I had to stay home a day because of it. It's a little embarrassing to tell my students that their teacher couldn't come to school because of pink eye!!

Today----I have to do lesson plans for this week. I also need to wash out some laundry in the bathtub (our washing machine is on the fritz), do some general cleaning, and figure up which savings bonds to cash in

to pay some bills this month.

Wesley has pinkeye in two eyes!

Anyways, I need to do laundry, dishes, pull up the carpet in the office, and go get the paper.

I have to water the plants, clean the bathroom, wash laundry, clip coupons and grocery shop today. I'll be going to my mom's for dinner and I hope to read if there's any time for myself today.

Not much going on here today. Washing the girls bedding and making sure I am ready for the new semester that starts tomorrow.

Well... I am going to the food warehouse outlet near me.... then come back home to decutter and give stuf away on freecycle.

- Vacumn the master bedroom
- Furniture polish the bedroom furniture
- Watch a movie with DD & DS#2
- Cook dinner

Same here. I'm nervous about school. 5 classes this semester and a full time stressful job.

Today is a weird and busy day for me. The Old Man is working 9-2 today, and he has the car, which is good because that means I can't go out and spend any money

but it also means I can't get the paper. DD and I walked to the newspaper box at the corner, only to find that because of the snow, the paper hasn't been changed since December 15th!!!

No coupons for me I guess. I know by the time Old Man gets home, the papers in the store will be gone... or they will have been stripped of any coupons. I hate when people do that!

Today I will -
finish cleaning out the dry-sink
clean out the corner hutch
clean out the drawers in one closet and move to the linen closet
stock the linen closet with the supplies scattered around the house
breathe
make DD lunch
make another dent in DD's room
change the mouse cage
putter around on the village
organize DD's seasonal/too big clothes in to totes
gather DD's too small clothes and sort to give away
serve dinner

If I am still alive after that, I will -
sort out Old Man's clothes
sort out my clothes
clean the drawers in our room
get laundry together and sorted in loads (bringing them to the ex's again)

At some point, I need to clear everything off my desk because we are going to give it away. With the tv coming Saturday, I need to do some serious work to the livingroom. It's sad when Old Man's friends have to tie a bunge to their waists and clip-off at the door

I am realistic... it's not going to get cleaned today... it's 5 years worth of clutter.

Today is going to be productive:

~ I have to fold and put away the 9 loads of laundry I did yesterday
~ I have to go to WalMart and get one more Chrismas and one more Halloween tote for decorations
~ Finish taking down the Christmas decorations once I have a place to put them!
~ Cooking 8 chicken breasts, spaghetti and meatballs, marinara, and roasted veggies for the week's food
~ Nursing DD12 back to health - the poor kid has what Rachel and I had this past week.
~ Tackle a few more boxes in the basement

The girls are going out to lunch with their dad - as soon as they take off I am off to Walmart to get more storage containers, as well as a couple of containers for the reclyclables in the back room.

Oh, and Amy - if you have to call into work tomorrow tell them you have "conjunctivitis". I think that sounds far more adult and exotic!

Not much here. Everyone in our house has a bad cold. We will have a lazy day. (Which is always nice.)

Just an update:

The baby and I just made a batch of cookies and muffins for snacks for the week.

And, I LIKE the conjunctivitis thing. Definitely more exotic.

I've already driven hubby to the airport at 5 am for his out of state work trip. Came home and went back to bed and slept until 9:30,

I do love my hubby, but I think this week is going to be a nice break. Anyway, for the rest of the day, think I'll try to put more Christmas stuff away and get stuff vacuumed and dusted. Hang out with the kids and do whatever sounds good! Right now, I'm drinking my coffee.

Yep. when I caught pink eye a few years back, I told everyone I had conjuctivitis, it just sounds so much better...

Today, I am going to:
Do some lighthouse work
I have a pot of crock pot chili that has been on since last night, so I dont have to worry about cooking
go to the gym
maybe watch Shrek 2, I got the trilogy for Christmas.
I also got the Friends Scene It Game last night at Walmart, Ive wanted it for over a year but it cost like $40 everywhere I looked. Last night we were looking through their christmas clearance, and DBF found it for $21. Whoo hoo!
