what is it about Rachel Ray??

I don't dislike her as a person, of course, but I don't like her show. It is her voice and something about her mannerisms maybe. Also, many of her dishes contain ingredients I wouldn't have on hand or have available to me at the local market.

One of the things that drives me nuts about her is how she tells you that if you have kids, you should do this & do that, and it will work (make them sweet potato fries, they'll gobble them up). She doesn't even have kids!!!!! Also, when she has kids on her show, she's overbearing & pushy. She had a little girl on the daytime show once so the little girl could make HER (little girl's) recipe & RR kept butting in & trying to tell her her "No, that's not how you do it." Of course the tot was arguing with her, but you could tell RR was exasperated. And last but not least (and only among other things), I had a friend that got to go to her show. They said as soon as they went to commercials, RR was cursing, raising hell & treating people (staff & those "working with her") like crap. Like she OWNED them or something.

I've heard she has a very ugly personality when the cameras are off.

I never pay attention to these celebrity cooks. I poo poo them. I am of the opinion that if you are a woman, and you wear a natual 48DD bra, you are, you must be, a good cook.
