    Question Need your opinions ladies!

Donating is great and all, but when it comes to footwear, only gently used is acceptable. But OMG, my 15!!!years old pull-on boots:

Arrrrghhh, the straight-leggedness of them looks pretty weird :

I am all for donating, but I think those 15yrs old boots belong to the garbage-category of old footwear. Not worn them for years, alone the stiff old leather and the germ ... , old ankle breakers too. Need your opinions ladies! Are those 15 years old pull-on boots
    - donatable (donation bag)
    - or yucky waste items (garbage bag-go in the local incinerator here)?

Look donatable to me. If for nothing else, someone can buy them & use them for a halloween costume. Never know who or why someone wants to buy just about anything.

they look in good shape to me. I don't buy used shoes, but I'm sure someone would love them.

I am totally for donating and recycling. I belong to freecycle.com where you share your used stuff with other people for free. But even if those boots are in great shape, after 15 years it is time to put them out of their misery. Way gross! They should go straight into the trash bag! They are definitely garbage!!! New here, hope i am not alone with my opinion...

donations are tax deducible, so that option is ahead of tossing.
even at a grage sale, you will get something, even if a few dollars.
Tossing brings nothing. So my vote is to donate them
( keep your reciept, the IRS will not take your word anymore and you must prove your donations)

Believe it or not someone would buy those boots. If you don't want to donate them to charity, you could always donate them to the theater dept. at your local college. One of my friends does the costuming for our local community college and she is always looking for stuff for their plays.

    Thumbs up

Definitely donatable. They are very nice.
You'd be surprised at what someone could
do to spruce them up just a bit.
