    Default polyurethane?

I just bought a bar and stools from a local lady and I'm wondering if I could paint them with polyurethane and put them outside. If did that would they still get water damage? It's kind of similar to this set http://www.target.com/Mission-Breakf...ank&rh=&page=2

    What do you think?

My DH said you would have to use polyurethane that is made for exterior, it would keep them from warping and stuff.

Yep, thats what DH said, I am sure even if it was interior that it would work as well, just put an extra coat
