Snakes, Lizards, and Spiders Oh My
We live out in the country and are recently having a problem with snakes, lizards, spiders, and BIG ants in the house. It is an old farm house and it is impossible to find and clog every crack and crevice. Does anyone know how to get rid of these guys? I just want them to stay outside.

Walk around the foundation of the house, look carefully for any small cracks, seal them with mortar or expansion foam (The foam is messy but can be cut after drying) make sure the doors fit tight, add a piece of molding if there is a gap.... wash the outside of the house or spray with chili peppers soaked in water for a couple days.... This will hide scent trails left my the mice and the ants don't like it..... You can plug the holes tight will steel wool also.... check basement windows or crawl space windows and make sure they fit tight and have no holes, if you have big drains in the basement cover them with cloth wire. Check where the siding meats the foundation and make sure there are no holes or gaps.... Trap those buggers, and kill them !!! If you let them go.... They know the way back in....... Terrible I know but it's true !!!
