dean - your gifts sound wonderful and you are such a sweetie to make the slippers and mittens. I tried to find the pattern for you for easy slippers on the web but now I can't seem to locate it. It was really simple...almost like a retangle then folding it in half and sewing it up a certain way. Mittens I have not been able to do yet. I will keep looking for the slipper pattern and send it to you if I can find it.

Debbie and Dean - when you find simple patterns for mittens and slippers, why don't you post them here. I'm sure that some of us would be able to make some up too.

Great idea Geckoace. Need to create a change jar that we absolutely cannot get into - we've been living off the change in ours for the past two weeks and are thankful it's there.

However, that will soon change and we will be good to accumulate again. Mahalo for the idea!!
