Clean House Challenge For 11/12

Okay, ladies, here are your missions for the day. We will start small, baby steps as Flylady says!

Set your timer for 5 minutes and round up all of the magazines, newspapers and paper clutter lying around. Bag it up and recycle it right out the door! Move quickly! See how much you can get done before time is up!

Clean out at least 1 kitchen cabinet or drawer. The holidays are coming, do you know where your cookie cutters are? How about that flour sifter. Are they buried in oblivion somewhere in your kitchen?

Okay, I can't do this. Papers and magazines stacking up are two things that I just don't let clutter around. Another FlyLady thing that stuck w/ me, even after I quit. AND, my kitchen drawers are another thing that's organized. My cookie cutters are all in the drawer that my girls play in (it has all of their play kitchen stuff, play food, etc. for their kitchen). I just cleaned out the drawer that always ends up as a catch all, Sunday.

So, I guess I'll just say that 1 closet will be my goal. I need to clean all of them (have 9 total). So, will just make 1 my goal.

Is that okay? LOL

Good job, Misty! You're already ahead of the rest of us-lol! I'm still working on laundry today.

mustang80, I am so not motivated today. Getting things done here and there. Will do something and be hard at it for about 10 minutes, then I'm ready to sit down again. Figured I'd watch my stories and then get up and clean. Cleaned for 10 minutes. Here I am. LOL! I did get a closet clean though. It wasn't one that I wanted to get clean, but I said that 1 would be my goal.

Just got off the phone w/ dh. He is coming home 2 hours early. Also, unmotivated and sleepy. Must be in the air today.

My DH is home early too, due to the rain. I got some stuff done, but haven't cleaned the closet yet. Those 5 loads of laundry did me in today. Tomorrow I'll have to clean 2 cabinets! LOL

well, I did todays challenge, except I didn't fool with the papers on my desk.........that will come on anouther day, probably this weekend. Most of the papers on my desk are coupons, I have to go through them anyhow

Got papers and magazines picked up just as the alarm went off, cleaned out one drawer while I cooked dinner.
