Week-long Pyramid Challenge - Week 6
~For those of you who are new to this and as a reminder to those of us who can't seem to follow the rules( me!!), I'll try to explain what this challenge is.
You will make 7 lists of things that need to be done. The list for the first day will have 12 things on it. The next day's list will have 10, the next 8, then 6, 4, 2 and finally 1 item. The challenge runs from Saturday to Friday.
Start with the smallest tasks you can think of that for whatever reason aren't getting done. Things that will only take a few minutes to do. As you go up the pyramid your tasks will be less in number but perhaps greater in time consumption.
It's time to stop procrastinating! Let's do this!~~Constance

~I'll have to carry over a few tasks that I didn't get to last week but that's ok. We're were out of the house 5 out of the last 7 days running to medical appointments and errands so I'm thrilled I got anything above the basics done!

So here's my Saturday 12:
(little things...little things...little things....)
go grocery shopping (short list already made!)
go to yard sale
laundry 1
laundry 2
1 load of dishes
plan menu
wipe out fridge
finish tying quilt
wash shower curtains and mats
find dd's spoon
make maple syrup
change all bed sheets
Some of these seem like big tasks but I should easily be able to get everything done in 3 hours.~~Constance

You've got a great plan for Saturday DC. I'm going to work on redesigning mine now that I know the Eagle Scout project of paining my classroom and storage is back in business this Saturday!! The plan on finishing up next Saturday!! I am really excited about the potential transformation. Now I must find my camera - first thing on my list!!

Wow madhen, you be careful in that heat! We are only looking at a high of 58F today. Pretty extreme difference in temps between us! I hope your back starts feeling better soon and DON'T overdo it!

madhen, definitely you do have a few more good hours in you - this does not mean that you have to use them tonight. Recover completely first.
I think that "Set up quarantine/hospital cage" may be a little ambitious for you right now, so it's okay if you don't get it done.Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I haven't done this before, and since Saturday is pretty much over, I'm just going to start with 10 things for Sunday. (I spent all day cleaning closets, so I did at least 12 things today.)
1. List 1 thing on Kijiji or Freecycle
2. Clean out coupon folder
3. Go through manuals, staple on receipts, throw out ones for things we don't have.
4. Load of laundry (1)
5. Load of laundry (2)
6. Clean off kitchen counters
7. Go through flyers, make list
8. Bring stuff upstairs from desk drawer
9. Bring hanging file upstairs
10. Put away basket of stuff on stairs

MW - that looks like a perfect list - important and doable!! You've got the process down perfectly already!!

~The server changeover has really messed up my FV time today. Only one or two posts that were made after 5pm last night showed up until about 5pm today. Oh the horrors!

I'm feeling under the weather today. I actually stayed in bed all afternoon when I couldn't get rid of the headache and shivering. I just knew that visiting all those doctor office's last week would get one of us sick.
In the hope that I'll be completely healthy tomorrow, I'll post my list.
Sunday 10:
Spend 15 minutes and no more doing each of the following:
pick up in all rooms
vacuum rooms
sweep rooms
mop rooms
dusting rooms
cleaning mirrors/glass/counters/sinks
wash sweaters
fold all laundry
put away all laundry
load of dishes
MM, I have just three beds in the house so it's a 10 minute job. Thanks for caring though!
