Ended up inadvertantly working on a third project yesterday and today. I finally consolidated all the photos of my work and now have one photo portfolio for prospective clients. Need to make notes beside the photos, but otherwise it's done.

Hmmmmmmmm ---prospective clients, peanut??? Want to tell us what you are doing? I thought you stayed home and didn't work?
WAY TO GO DC......that is progress on your project.
I made none today - but had fun. Think that comes under 'be flexible' on the 4 things to do list!

Y'all, I still haven't completed my January project, and I refuse to post a February project in my sig until I make good on my first goal. I have a really bad habit of flittering from task to task and never fully finishing anything and I don't want to do that in this challenge, too. Better late than never, right? I am going to try to buy my paint rollers and handle today so I can get the bottom part of the closet painted perhaps tonight/tomorrow, and then I will be ready to cut in the paint at the top and work on the upper half. I seriously underestimated the labor and tediousness (is that a word?) of painting a closet vs a room, and it's really come back to bite me! However, I will also buy some coarse sandpaper when I go to the store so I can have a head-start on my next task. February is a short month, after all.

Well I got the project table cleared off but I never did the couple of scrap book pages or a small project on the table like I originally planned. I did however after clearing the table then sort through ALL of the stuff in the 2 bathroom cabinets and clear out stuff and reorganize it to make more sense. Things like the nail polish remover being in the boys bathroom and all the acne medication stuff being in the master bathroom and so forth. It had ended up this way because we had originally only had the one bathroom and then we did the addition I never went through all the stuff. I went through rx medication and stockpile stuff, towels and make-up and so on. So while it was not a project that was originally planned it was something I had put off and I did sort things on the newly cleared off table.
There are still a ton of projects I've been putting off out there and I'm having a hard time deciding which one to committ to fro February. I am going to tentatively go with getting at least 3 scrap book pages each done for my kids. That may change based on what I get into but I know this is one I need to try and force myself to get going on as the stuff I have put aside to organize for them is overwhelming. Once I jump in it will be easier to keep moving on it but the "get going" on it is what I keep putting off.

Just have to do the closet. I am dreading that one! I know DH will be happy though.

I've got that problem too, MyMelody.
For February, I think I'll intentionally flit back and forth between a couple of smaller projects, since I don't feel like tackling a big project.
So for February:
1. cut and install the leftover bead board in the bathroom (salvaged from removing a cupboard in there). I hope there are enough boards, because I'm not sure where I could buy beadboard as thick as these boards are.
2. clean up the basement (ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh). I guess my first step should be to develop a better attitude!
3. to help motivate me in the basement, work on completing a chair refinishing job I started a few years ago. The chair has been down in the basement gathering dust since then. If I get the wood parts of the chair stripped and refinished, then I can reupholster it in March (new skill to learn!).

Got my paint roller handle and some extra rollers, so the end is near for my closet project! Rainey, I am definitely going with a smaller project for February also. I may try to alternate large tasks with small ones just so I don't get burned out.

Yeah, maybe but I would rather those treasures stay hidden if I could get out of cleaning that closet!
