I have 3 garbage bags full of clothes for donation - will list the contents later....I'm proud of myself so far

So what I just hauled outside and got squished under my chairs

1 recliner chair
1 sofa chair
1 crt monitor
1 lcd flat screen monitor
21 short skirts
2 pairs shoes
1 sweater knit top
1 cardigan
1 pr jeans
11 long skirts
1 undies - tag still on, brand new!
2 dress shirts
1 long dress
2 short dresses
2 dress slacks

49 items plus the old pull out sofa and love seat already in the garage = 51 items going to the Salvation Army truck tonight!

New grand total of: 134 items flung in 2010 so far

We have been getting rid of so much that I have lost track - and there is still a lot yet to go!! Shall be flinging all of 2011!!

While I have not added to my Sister's bags, I did get the ones I had packed off my breezeway. Save but one, somehow we missed it. So 7 bags gone.

I also sent her home with a leather jacket and a pair of dress shoes! Woo Hoo! So glad to be rid of the stuff.

~This week has been insanely busy. Just one day of tossing this week. I tossed a stack of papers and two gift bags I was using for organizers.

~Oh, it was two days this week because I also purged a card game while cleaning the game shelf. ~

~Day 75:
Spent a few extra minutes really examining the clean linens today as I was folding them. Threw out 10 hankies, cloth napkins and towels that were torn & stained.

Lesson: I make these items with t-shirts and sheets so I've already "saved" them once. I'm getting better about sending them to the dump when they look bad. They'd have been there a long time ago if I hadn't upcycled them.~

~Last day:
7 silly bracelets. Ds just had too many and they were getting really worn out so we sorted and tossed.

So how did everyone do this year? I feel like I kept my head above water and developed a solid habit of nearly daily decluttering. I managed to hit 76/100 days! Hopefully the habit carries into the the new year as I participate in the Fling 2011 Things in 2011 Challenge.
