2010 Pyramid Challenge - Week 49
I need to really get organized this week. Last week I kind of fudged around with my list - and it really showed in my organization, so, not to
I am ready to get set up for next week starting tomorrow:
Saturday:
1. Make pattern for pillow
2. Do shirt alterations
3. Make plane reservations for DH
4. Call DD
5. LP for gingerbread activity
6. Clean up LR
7. Laundry
8. Wrap 5 presents
Sunday:
1. Walgreens - download pictures & order prints.
2. Weekly LP
3. Call MIL
4. Finish wrapping ornament packages
5. Finish knitting scarf
Monday:
1. Memo to Kaipo
2. Call for sub for Tues.
3. PO - mail Pkgs.
4. Wrap 5 presents
Tues:
1. Workshop all day
2. Snacks for above
3. Dr. Marden 3:30
4. Find tall rosemary plant
5. Wrap 5 presents
That's enough to keep me bsy for awhile!!
How is your week shaping up!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I am going to try and join in this week! I never seem to get everything done I have intentions to do...but at least I have a goal and a list to work from. I am going to try and keep a "traditional" Pyramid going....we'll see if it works
Today(Saturday):
1. Bring DS to baseball
2. Go tanning
3. Kids pictures done at the studio
4. Vacuum
5. Dishes
6. Knit on dishcloths
7. Clean bathroom
8. Get and cash paycheck
9. Sweep entry stairs
10. Sweep kitchen floor
11. Sweep bathroom floor
12. Hang curtain in boys room
That should keep me busy today!

I am frightened by the number in the thread title. There are only 52 weeks in a year, how can we be at 49 already?! I hope this doesn't mean that it's almost Christmas, because I am not even close to being ready.
Tonight we are going to a party, so I'm just going to tidy and try to find something to wear, do something with my hair, etc.
Tomorrow my stupid report is due, the one I worked on all last week and still haven't finished.
I will come back on Monday with a real list.

Getting there and it's not even noon yet! Probably won't make it tanning today since I was going to do it while DS was at baseball...we got all the way to practice and he is missing his glove...we think it was stolen out of our car, so we drove right home
. I did start a little knitting on my dishcloths but will check that off tonight when I get more done. How is everyone else doing in their pyramid this week?

You are rocking HP!! Very impressive work there!!
I just finished wrapping all my packages to mail - AND I conquered the most unusual presents to wrap!! Cannot believe it and am soooooo proud!! Cannot wait to hear from the recipient - the gift is fun but the packing is amazing!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Nice job on the wrapping! Wrapping is my least favorite chore for the holiday season...I always seem to rip the paper or something!

You bet and welcome back Kaebuzz!!
The original version worked like this:
The first day - list 12 small, manageable things that you want to accomplish. Each day after, decrease your list by 2 - so you'll be crerating a pyramid list with 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2 things to do.
Over the year or so, the original list has been modified to fit individual needs. I set mine up so I can build on it as the week goes and I'll have an overview of my week - works for me.
Hope it works for you!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Power has flickered three times this morning, so hopefully doesn't go out. If no power I will just tidy, get laundry ready and work on Xmas list.

Well I never did get back around to updating my list last night, but I did get most of my dinner dishes done...a few had to soak overnight and I fit some reading in...so did pretty good on my list yesterday. For today
Monday:
1. Work 9-5
2. Dishes
3. Vacuum
4. Knit/sew
5. Wipe fingerprints of any and all walls
6. Wrap some xmas presents
7. Read
8. Clean off computer desk
We'll see how far I get...I started clearing some of the papers yesterday off my computer desk...but needs much more organization today. Usually monday's I get out of work before 5 since it's always slow...I am hoping that's the case today so that I can actually try and get my whole list done, plus anything neglected from the past few days! Have a great day everyone!
