Ok, I am still on the get it part of this challenge. I'm putting everything away after having a few rooms painted and since everything is all nice and clean and dusted, I am going to keep those rooms current and continue on getting the other areas clean and up to date.

Last night I...

Did MUCH better this week!

Not feeling sick and it not being cold help an awful lot! Also, DH and I have been doing this together, which is always also a help, as it keeps my panic attacks at bay.

Of all the results of my PTSD/abusive childhood, the panic attacks when I begin to follow a routine are probably the hardest long-term affect for me to fight. Part of the reason that I can is that I have found a routine of sorts that works. I clean then come to FV and play games for a while, then I feel guilty about not doing anything, and go do something else...when the panicky feeling starts, I come back to the office and play games again.

Rationally, I think this is idiotic, I should just be able to spend 3 hours cleaning the kitchen or whatever, but it doesn't work that way. I find reasons to stop and go do something else. At the end of the day I can see that I've sidetracked myself, again, but that doesn't help the next day, and things don't get done. So... I'm going with what works, idiotic or not!

For the last week or so, I have been making sure that my kitchen is all clean before I go to bed. I have to say, I really like when I go in there in the morning and it is all nice and neat, sometimes I wonder if it is my kitchen! LOL

Last night I did some laundry, tonight I will make sure it is all put away.

You are a great inspiration Judy! I should keep track better to see how much I actually do get done!

I need to use this thresd for just the basic things that I need to do daily - even though these should be automatic, I still miss some. So here's what I need to do.

On school days:

After school:
Clear off desks
Check refrigerator
Water plants
Plug in phone
Exercise

Nighttime:
Wash dishes
Pack lunch
Clean off couch

Those are the basic things and now I'm going to make sure I check them daily.
