Writing went well today, so I'm happy. I came into my office and the first thing I did was turn off my router, so no tempting internet. I whizzed through 576 words in no time! I need much better writing habits and this may be key for me! The internet is a huge distraction and I'll admit it's hard for me to just not go there when I get stuck writing or think of something I just have to look up online.
Still lots to do yet, so I better get with it.
Lisa, I KNOW you can quit. Many others before you have. It's like me and losing weight, same thing. I have all my excuses but my body isn't a bit impressed by excuses, only positive actions.
One word of advice, don't sub the cigarette habit with eating. Then you'll just end up with another life-threatening problem if you gain weight. Sip water instead. Carry a bottle everywhere you go so it's handy the instant you need it. Most people need more water anyway!

Of my remaining items, I have done ... nothing. I hope to tackle the living room after work. I'll have to see how much ambition I have left by then. This isn't going to be a good week for accomplishing anything with no days off at all.
5. Declutter living room
6. Clear off computer table
7. Mending
8. Clean out refrigerator
9. Get cash at bank
10. Scrub toaster oven pan
11. Answer Connie's letter
12. Clean pens, choose new inks
13. Frog crochet projectsDonna

An okay day, considering I hurt my back and broke my sewing machine.
1. Exercise 30 minutes.
2. Write 500 words.
3. Clean counter for old island.
4. Install old island in cabin.
5. Clean off bead cabinet.
6. Read 30 pages.
7. Feed cats.
8. Medicate dog.
9. Work on no sew rug.
10. Hem some new towels.
I also installed one of the new kitchen pull outs, which I love. One more to go, but don't know if I'll be up to it for a few days.
Finally got the veggie seeds started, too. And I remembered to bring in the dirt so it can warm up to transplant some of the flowers I started earlier. So at least I got a few things done.
Installed the peep hole in the door. Now it looks like someone shot a hole in our door. It's weird seeing the hole in the door and it looking like there's nothing plugging the hole! Glad it's in though, finally.
Not sure about tomorrow. I may not be getting out of bed.
So I'll pick eight really easy things and just see what happens:
1. Feed cats.
2. Medicate dog.
3. Write 500 words.
4. Read thirty pages.
5. Start making OAMC lists using WW recipes.
6. Find two cookbooks to donate.
7. Work on no sew rug.
8. Transplant seedlings to mini greenhouse.Last edited by Spirit Deer; 03-08-2011 at 07:55 PM.

I'm still falling behind but I'm not being too hard on myself. I'm keeping busy in many ways. Not smoking still. On the 36th hour of not smoking. I'm really not sure I'll get through my whole list for this week. Regardless, I'm feeling good about my progress with one big thing.
We'll see how this goes but tomorrow night I work overnight. Bah!

Got a few things done, though I have to confess the living room is ok because half the stuff was dumped in the bedroom - LOL. But that's yarn organization and a project for another day. Maybe tomorrow - I'm going to see if I can leave work early to be home for a delivery. If so, I'll do it then. Maybe. Anyway, I'm changing #7 frmo mending to bedroom clean up. I wouldn't do the mending anyway.

Sigh. Does it ever end? I did get to come home a little early today, leaving at 2:45 instead of 4. That's the good news. The bad news is that I have to be back around 6 to work the evening shift to 11. There were only two student workers running the library tonight, and one called in sick - one that I'll believe if he tells me he is. So.....Donna to the rescue! Again. We won't leave one student to work a whole shift alone, though the one I have tonight would be completely capable of doing it. He's better at the job than I am.
So, nothing done today and probably nothing Thursday or Friday, because I'm going to be a limp rag. But this week ends my stint on days, so life gets back to normal soon.
A long whine about why I can't even do a pitiful little easy baker's dozen this week. I'll just be glad when it's behind me.
I'll check back in in a few days, but I'm thinking I taking next week off from Everything.Donna
