Ok, by the grace and teaching of Madhen, I'm going for the Baker's Dozen this week. But since I had a reprive and don't have to go to work until 1 today instead of 9, I'll do two today.
Saturday:
0. Finish cleaning the kitchen after the Big Cook - a leftover
1. Take pic of doilyghan and post it
2. Frog melonberry afghan, choose new pattern
Surely I should be able to manage as little as that!Donna

In my attempt to do more things for myself and the things that make me happy here is my list... These are usually things I do not make time for in my busy life. Time to add more fun and me into my tasks!
1. Watch two episodes of Gilmore Girls 2nd season. (discs go back monday!)
2. Read 50 pages of my book
3. Take a shower, wash face, floss teeth, use essential oils!
4. Cut finger nails - before I break one!
5. Look at videos of different crochet chains
6. Take one photo today (I haven't pulled out my camera forever!)
7. Look up upholstery classes (I'd really love to take some!)
8. Drink a glass of wine this evening (it's been a while and it sounds good!)
9. Dishes (because they need to be done)
10. Organize crafts for one hour (yes, if I can accomplish this, I will feel good. This is a pain in the butt!)
11. Spend 30 minutes with daughter doing "school" stuff.
12. Research christmas craft ideas and start planning for once!
And the leftover....
Finish my rice/heat pack! - Starting it in a few minutes!!

In the past couple of days, this is what I've got done...
- e-mail someone meatloaf recipe DONE
- e-mail someone link to blog DONE
- tidy main floor DONE
- sweep main floor DONE
- tidy master bedroom DONE
This is what is what I want to get done...
- clean foyer bathroom
- clean ensuite bathroom
- wash/dry laundry
- fold laundry
I have a feeling when I get my bathrooms cleaned, it'll be a great feeling of accomplishment. I always put my bathrooms and washing of floors to last on the list. It's such a good feeling to get the stuff done. I may actually start feeling organized.

'Surely I should be able to manage as little as that!" she said. Wrong. I was thinking I could finish frogging the melonberry afghan when I got home, completely forgetting I don't get off until 11 tonight. Apparently I need a To Do list that I can count on the fingers of one hand!
Saturday:
0. Finish cleaning the kitchen after the Big Cook - a leftover - Finished good enough
1. Take pic of doilyghan and post it - Done
2. Frog melonberry afghan, choose new pattern Half doneDonna

Ok, let me tell you a story. So...
I wanted to finish my set of rice heat packs I was making for myself. However, my craft room/guest room is such a mess still that I could not find the foot pedal for my sewing machine.
So, I started taking out every single thing I have for crafts out of the room and organizing it all in the living room. This is quite the chore! I do wood crafts, paper crafts, crochet, recycled crafts, photography stuff, scrapbooking, sewing, and so on. No craft is off limits in my world. Imagine how much stuff I am finding that I forgot I had and so on. Oh boy!
Needless to say, my crafts are almost organized. I have spent more than two hours doing this. I have found my sewing machine foot pedal. (Yay!) I can finish my rice heat packs when I'm done with this. : )
The guest part of the room.. will have to wait though. I have a closet to clean out. And holiday stuff to organize that is now all over the bed. Eeek!
Thankfully, My crafts are organized!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!

This is what I've accomplished today...
1) clean foyer bathroom DONE
2) clean ensuite bathroom DONE **I also cleaned the main upstairs bathroom!!!
3) wash/dry laundry DONE
4) fold laundry DONE
6) Pluck eyebrows DONE
7) Vacuum off salt off front foyer mat and wash floor in that area DONE
This is what still needs to get done...
5) Put $6 for AWANA race cars in special spot in wallet
8) Print off cell phone bills for remainder of last year for income tax purposes
9) Match credit card receipts to bills for remainder of last year for income tax purposes
The house looks SO much better now that the three bathrooms are cleaned, the main floor is swept (from a couple days ago) and all the laundry is put away. There's three more loads that were washed and dried today waiting to be folded in the basement...but that's another story.
I can't wait to tackle more housecleaning this week. I actually can't believe I'm saying that.
I also sold on kijiji three bathing suits and two water shoes that my girls have outgrown for $12. By the time we paid the girls this and last weeks allowance, we're left with $6.30. That'll go toward the next week to two weeks of their allowance. Thankfully, their allowance is coming out of things I'm selling.
