Just found out that our neighborhood block yard sale will be at the end of April, so I REALLY need to get my basement emptied and ready for the sale. Talk about motivation!!!

Good for you! I always get more done with a deadline. You'll be busy, but what a great opportunity to have a GROJ (Get Rid Of Junk) sale!

Ooooh! A neighborhood yard sale! Good thing I'm not nearby. I'd buy more to add to my already considerable collection! Still thinking about that oak chair out by the dumpster...

I haven't been posting here much but I've actually been making loads of progress with the apartment. I decluttered a LOT: the entrance, the bedroom, the hot press, the spare room and the bathroom now contain only essential items (the closet is still a hot mess though...but I might actually never tackle that until we move out of here next year...).
I completely reorganised the kitchen after getting tired of tupperware falling on top of me from high-up cupboards and bought new photo frames for the living room, too. Still got quite a bit to do as my living room is covered in cardboard boxes and old sheets that need brought to the dump.
I got to work de-moulding the bathroom tiles with this hardcore bleach stuff last night, so big improvement there, but I'd like to get some bathroom curtains to jazz it up a bit. I will have before and after photos when everything is done!

My March goal has not been completed; however, I did make some progress and I have to admit that I am pleased to have gotten something accomplished in March as crazy as the month was. My March goal is now my April goal and I have already been working in there almost every day and would really like to have it finished by the end of the month.
You folks are just getting so much done and making such good progress. Keep it up! You inspire me and I need it!Weight Challenge:

I am making good progress on my office/dining room. I just need to finish hemming the last curtain panel and then dust and vacuum. It looks so much better in there. Thank you all for keeping me inspired!

You gals are doing great! I'm in Minot right now. Disappointed the prices aren't as low as people suggested to me, but the variety is something we don't often see in Canada. So that is nice to see. I've spent my limit before heading home, so I must be very good shopping with my friend today and keep my hands out of my purse. I don't want to pay duty, as it can be horrendous.

That's great, MyMel! Sleep well!
Peanut, Minot is a couple hours from Williston, where the oil boom is going on. Maybe the scarcity of stuff in Williston due to the influx of workers there is having an impact on Minot, too. Happy shopping! Don't forget the secondhand stores.
We organized a corner of the garage today and got rid of a bunch of stuff. We also semi-organized the front entry to my office and finally hung up the drapes I made for that room last winter.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Haven't made much progress this month so far except for the pantry. Moved in two cupboards with doors and those two are organized but the closet isn't yet. I haven't worked on any totes either...will try and get at that this week.

Have fun sleeping in your new place mymel!

This past week was 'vacation' from school:
Master Bedroom is completed. I should do a vaccuum, maybe wash the windows, but it is clean, organized, and decluttered. I am loving the queen size bed, upgraded from full. Loving even more all the space under there (bed risers added 11" tall of space under the frame.) I have purchased three sets of linens (one set flannel sheets, one Egyptian Cotton - yay!!! - on sale - bigger YAY!!) I used what I had for storage "containers" under the bed. I've decluttered the 'Library style' bookshelf in there. I have a wall of closet, wide open, no doors or curtains. Organized by color (rainbow)and by size. Folded pants, then skirts, blouses, dressy jackets, dresses. Pretty happy with the results.
Already started on the Kitchen/Pantry redo. Two cabinets decluttered, shelves properly supported now (no smiling shelves), cleaned, shelf liner, and my label maker has been working overtime! I love that thing.
