I am jumping in! It was beautiful day today in mid- Ohio. We cleaned the garage!!!

We loaded the truck with cardboard, papers & glass to recycle. I gave up a ton of jars I was keeping for "possibilities". We threw out all kinds of old junk, floor mats & greasy rags & candles & papers. An old car seat. A whole set of encyclopedias. An old fan, cups with advertising on them, old plastic Christmas platters. There was a ton of stuff. I am counting it as 200, but wouldn't be suprised if it was double that!

Out of my garage! Out of my life!!!

~I need to tackle the my full bin of things to shred as well. I think my shredder is jammed. It's been half a year since I used it so I think that must be the reason I stopped shredding and started stuffing a can instead.
Counting some stuff that came in:

went around and collected tags and receipts and little bits of paper.
counting it as 10 things. so that's 46 things flung! 1966 things to go.

today is a big day. i plan to go through the stacks of papers that seem to accumulate and shred to my hearts content. i'll be back later...

yesterday i went through our old bills, etc and pulled out tons of stuff. easily 200 pieces of paper. dh is upstairs shredding away. there's even more stuff to go through.

i finally took the prayer shawl i made into church today and returned my mom's electronic picture frame to her (it's awkward and has like 5 pieces to it).

200 + 1 + 5 = 206

206 + 46 = 252 things flung! 1760 things to go!!

I am not keeping *count* but I have three more boxes from the kitchen FULL of stuff to take to the thrift store. I have to take them as they are filled....can't stand to have them sitting around! I found a new thrift store that is part of an animal adoption society, so I love taking stuff there! They have fast turnover in the shop and really good prices.

~19 more books. I think that's all my book collection. I still have about 12 in the "to read" pile. I'll count those out as I finish reading them.~

Found 4 boxes of berries hidden in the back of the fridge - all spoiled :'(

Tossed l/o apple crisp - also banished next to the berries.

Tupperware of l/o crackers (only 5 but they're still going out)

old lexmark ink cartridge (will be recycled), haven't had a lexmark printer in ions.
handful of plastic tabs for folders I no longer own.
2 plastic things I couldn't even identify
7 old business cards
old phone # list (obsolete)
a dozen used envelopes (have no idea why they were kept)

Flung 8 things from the kitchen yesterday - expired soup, hot chocolate, spices etc.

Total flung - 18 LOL Can't wait til I really get flinging!
