Well, I'm actually thinking about making it a REAL pyramid this year. So, the goal would be to accomplish 43 little things per week: 1 thing the first day, 2 the next, 4 the next, then 6, then 8, then 10, then 12. (Last year, it was an inverted pyramid, because you started with 12 and dropped a few each day.)

The idea is to start with one pain-in-the-neck thing that you've been meaning to do, but never get around to doing, because it isn't important enough to set other things aside for, so you keep putting it off. The next day, do two things, then four, etc, until the seventh day, when you are up to twelve things, but they are little things like "clean the top on the salt shaker" and "water my peace lily."

Some people just make a randomly-numbered list daily; some list all 43 things and start striking it off as they get through it; some (well, me) stick to the original form and list the "correct" number each day.

I've decided to try to do this weekly, but I am going to do Pyramid Lite - at least for now. Most weeks I will schedule nothing for Sat/Sun - these are extra long shifts at work and realistically I can get very little done. Today I'm off, of course, and do have a list. If I do anything for the weekends, it will be a random list. My real pyramid will be Mon-Fri with 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 or 30 things during the week. That will work best for me.

So my random list for today, mostly leftovers from yesterday:

    1. Make list of all yarns used in projects
    2. Organize yarns
    3. Inventory project yarns
    4. Wash dishes
    5. Check Kindle freebie list
    6. Declutter living room
    7. Clean top of cabinet
    8. Declutter bedroom
    9. Make list of all started crochet projects in book
    10. Put project inventory in crochet book
    11. Put drinks in fridge
    12. Fold, put away laundry
    13. Take out stinky trash
    14. End of month/year accounting
