    Default 2012 February: Today's To-Do's

A long time ago, a friend of mine shared a philosophy with me that if he could accomplish three things a day, then he felt like he had used his day wisely. If he had sixteen things that needed to be done, he would get at least three done, then not let the other thirteen bother him, because they could wait and be knocked out the next day. But he had to do three.

So this challenge is to get three things done every day, to post those things here, and to let yourself get off the guilt train about the rest of the things you had HOPED to accomplish each day, at least for the rest of that 24 hours.

Three a day is all we ask....

Moved NicJean's over, so she wouldn't have to re-type it!

Took me until this morning to clear off & scrub the mudroom counter and cabinet, but it is done. Finished folding two loads of laundry. Yay, me!

    Today:
Take work items to work - I swear they follow me home!
Work meeting tonight - leave early, need to fill furnace.
Today's gonna be stressful: Remember that I am a Child of God, and He's in control. (Stepmom has meeting with surgeon today.)

I don't have a list, just checking in. My mom passed away suddenly last week and I've been out of town taking care of arrangements and now packing up her belongings. Maybe if I had a list it would be a little easier to get things done.

    Smile February 2

Big blessings from Heaven yesterday: Stepmom was told by surgeon she can have a lumpectomy, rather than mastectomy (YAY!!!), no reconstruction needed (wow, bigger YAY!!!). I brought some stuff to work - I'm at work, it's in the car. . . need to bring it in. My meeting last night was cancelled, so no worries about the fire going out (yay).

Today - crazy day Thursday, my to-do: keep afloat, and smiling.
Vermont has two seasons: Wintah and the Fourth of July.

Oh doggoneit! I just realized I posted today under last month's to do. Oh well, I don't know how to move it and I don't feel like rewriting it so later or tomorrow I'll post here and it will be referring to what was mistakenly written on last months. Sorry - brain dead and exhausted!

Me too, pinetree. Left work early to hit the Apple Genius Bar, hoping they could fix my computer. No luck there, and I was too annoyed to go get groceries afterward. I'll try to knock them out tomorrow. Not starting off the month well!!
