This was my project on sunday. The bottom back, and 2 bottom drawers needed to be pulled out to get the job done. I was thrilled and SOOOo grateful when my sweet hubby helped me.
It took getting on his knees to do it. Cleaning the fridge is on the top of my "most hated chore" list!
(thanks mike...lol)
Monday.... broke out the Scrubbing Bubbles and an old toothbrush, and got a good deep clean around the tiles that surround my drop-in stove top. it needed it!! Did some closet sorting on my side too.
Tuesday, I want to declutter my bathroom vanity drawers, and under the sink. And it looks like the front windows need a good cleaning too. And there's a bad floor tile in the family room I should tackle. Vinyl does have it's plusses, kwim?
Love this....thanks SD for posting it!

We took back several items my parents had given us that we no longer need.
Yesterday and tomorrow: put away shopping we did in NL and toys dd received for her birthday. Several are immediately put in the re-giftbox (or shelf - I don't have a proper place for it yet).
Fun fact: on Queen's Day (30 April) the whole of The Netherlands turns into one huge fleamarket. Great buys can be found on any item under the sun. Around 4pm many items go for free.

Yesterday, I spring cleaned the entire second bedroom, dusted, steam cleaned the carpet, took the curtains down and put thru the dryer. Today, I start moving the stuff for the office back in.
I will also be spring cleaning the master closet today (which is where all the "office supplies" are at currently). Clearing the floor, both white shelving units is the main project of the day. Will do more as energy manages LOLLiving Single and Loving it!

Sibrie, interesting about Queen's Day. Thanks for sharing.
I have to de-hair the cat gym and get it ready to donate this afternoon, wash up some cat litter pails that we use for storage and seat extenders between the seats in our truck when we camp, and go through a box of camping stuff. I anticipate finding at least a few things to donate from the camping box.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turns out the camping box I was going to sort has already been sorted. Still, there's no shortage of things needing to be sorted around here.

All shopping was put in its proper place, some of it has already disappeared in our tummies...YUM!
Tonight: pay bills, hunt garage for second toiletbrush (I just know we have it, and dh says he'll buy a new one on Saturday if we don't find it), start one load of laundry. SLEEP!

Bills are paid, new toiletbrush has been bought (shame), another toy box sorted. I'm really proud of myself, because I actually threw some old toys away.
We've been cleaning all weekend, dh suddenly couldn't face the mess anymore and got going! I love it when he does that! I prefer to do a daily routine and do an extra job once or twice a week, he prefers to do a thorough clean once every 6 weeks - it works for us. Now I try to keep the momentum. Tonight: dh works from home (customer service) and can do ironing, I'll do...hmmmlemmethink....I need to fill out a few forms before 20 May (for a possibly group buy of electricity, dds information sheet for the afterschool care, money-back stuff I bought, etc).

Today, I finally finished up several jobs that have been stacking up on the kitchen table during the move/redecorate/spring cleaning.
Found top of table by:
Putting up rest of light diffusers
Taking several things to garage
Notebooks in car to take to church library
Trashed a few things
Jobs done today:
Washed off table and chairs
Swept and mopped kitchen, short hall, and laundry room
Put down clean rugs
New cover put on car's steering wheel
Garden tools into garage
Poop and weed patrol
Bunch of books back into bookcases, not sorted and purged yet
I just really needed to get a sense of order back to the house.
Still two more rooms to steam clean carpets, spring clean.
Then will sort/purge/organize kitchen cabinets
and garage, then have a sale, hopefully by 1st weekend of June
Still plan to do today:
Sort 2 sm baskets of stuff in office and put away/throw away
Sort 1 laundry basket of stuff in office and put away/throw awayLiving Single and Loving it!

This looks like a motivating and inspiring challenge. I think I might join it! Won't be able to start until tomorrow though because we're having company tonight and we're celebrating my Dad's 60th birthday!

Yesterday I filled out 2 forms; 2 more to go (but one is an 'additional tax information' form, so it needs very careful filling out). Dds were awake until 10pm last night, so not much got done. Dds are 1 and 3, usually they are in bed by 7pm, so this was a bit of a surprise and a strain. That'll be it for tonight, I think.
