Mission 12: The China Cabinet
Okay, today we are cleaning china cabinet, hoosier, hutch, buffet, all those places we store extra or good dishes etc.
It's hard for me to tell you to toss any of this, so, instead, I going to advocate that you pull it all out, clean out the inside of the furniture, wash all of the dishes, look for chips or cracks & get rid of those pieces, and put it all back. Also, polish any silver you might have stored with your good stuff!
Okay! Get crackin'!My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

Boy does mine need it! So far I have taken out all my extra goblets and glasses but I still have lots to do in there. I'm not sure when I'll get to this one, I'm still working on the kitchen cabinets and fridge!

I have a cabinet I can clean. The drawer has Christmas stockings and birthday decorations shoved in it. lol The top is a mess. I stuck a few vases on top out of the reach of the kids, but then I started adding more on top and out of their reach. Now it's pretty crowded. lol I took my depression glass dishes out though, so there's not a lot of things inside anymore.
I'll work on it.

Good one!
When we moved the china cabinet into the diningroom before Christmas I purged and organized. It does need a light dusting again on the inside.

I don't have anywhere to put my blenko vases yet, so there they stay out of the reach of the kids. They are too tall to put anywhere else yet.
In the cabinet are a set of plates that can be hung, but they are still in there until I can get a chance to hang them.
Before: That roll is laminated paper dolls for the kids. lol

After: (still a little oily) lol

I am finally getting to this today. I have 2 before pics and again how embarrassing!
When Carolyn gave us the mission for our catch-all spot, I choose my sewing room, but truth be told my dining room is just about as bad as that sewing room was!
Lots of work to do in there.
So far I have cleaned out the 3 drawers and the bottom of it. One full kitchen sized garbage bag going out!

Don't have one either but did a spring fling on the tupperware a few weeks ago and everything else is bare minimum on the dishes so I count this one checked off for my house.
