Today's "flinging" --- sortta.....!!

Today I set out to finish my file cabinet (again) which I did (again) and I wanted to rearrange some stuff that looked a little more like clutter & a little less like - well - a little more like clutter!

So as I'm carrying out load after load of stuff that I wasn't sure why I was keeping it to begin with (& believe me, I know I'm the only one who goes through that!!) one of the neighbors sticks her head out & says, "watching you is motivating me..."
We both kind of chuckled and she went back inside (carrying my old antique pole lamp minus the plug!)....
An hour or so later, we met again with her carrying out this oh-so-cute shelf!
Well - we just considered it payment for the lamp....

I have a window that nothing seems to look right in front of...
it's right under the carport & where two rugs don't exactly meet...
I was thinking this shelf would look so cute there!
I put my sewing machine & serger on the bottom shelf (and off of my barrister), took down my sunflower swag and put it on a shelf, snatched a picture from the kitchen, Belle donated her St. Michael's plaque & favorite rosary (

) and I grabbed a basket & stuffed it with sunflowers....
I wasn't sure if it looked quite right or not - it's also the window with our AC unit....
After some more scrounging around, I put this together & need some brutality about how it really looks.....
