I was forced to neglect my rose bushes for 2 years due to all of my illness'. Today I broke off a dead piece (close to the base) and there was a yellow worm in side it.

Anyone know what this is? I killed it but I'm afraid I've got some kind of infestation. All of my roses have brown at the top of each bud and I also think I have 'mealy bugs'?

What you all recommend for my roses?
