I have a problem with Arwen(goat)
She absolutely will not let me milk her this morning. After she ate the tidbit of sweetfeed I put down for her, while I started to milk ,she was all over the stall. Do I go back later and try again or just wait until the evening milking? Not sure what to do here and any help will be appreciated.

She may have mastitis. Have you checked her udder for inflammation or tenderness?

My milking experience is with cows not goats, so take my advice or not as you see fit.

Cows are very much into routine and it can take 4-6 weeks before they're really into a good pattern of behavior. I'd say keep being very consistant about bringing Arwen to milk at the same times and follow the same routine for washing up, feeding, milking. Be gentle but FIRM. You're the boss. She'll settle down soon.
