Default Pics of our new chicken coop

We got 16 Buff Orps this spring and we had to build them a little home. We haven't had a chance to paint it yet and we have almost finished the run, which isn't in the pictures. As soon as it is all finished I will post more pics.

Wow. That's a really nice coop. What are the dimensions?

My 17-year-old son is building me a chicken coop (bless his little heart). It is his first complete building (he's done lots of repairs and little jobs for me), so he was most comfortable going with 8 X 8. That is a little small for my needs, but I figure we can probably add on to it at a later time.

Congratulations on the Buff Orpington's, too. They're nice birds.

Thanks for all of the nice comments. We just finished the run last night. It's supposed to be in the 90's tomorrow so we had to get it finished.

Goat21, the dimensions are 8x12. We wanted it big enough that we could get a few more later if we wanted. Our run we just finished it 10x24.
